We are totally against illegal logging and deforestation and only use timber for our prefabricated wooden houses and pavilions that comes from approved Indonesian government sources.
Our wood sourcing manager, Bobby Supratman has been brought up in Kalimantan and has witnessed huge rainforest devastation there which has totally wiped out huge areas of natural habitat causing species like the orangutan to nearly become extinct.
All our timber is purchased directly from Kalimantan, Irian Jaya or Sulawesi only from logging companies who respect the natural habitat by only logging in government approved areas and contributing to restoring damaged ecosystems by planting trees on land where trees have been cut down.
The whole timber and wood selection process ensures a high quality environmentally friendly end product.
We realize that our high quality prefabricated houses and pavilions are made from wood originating from endangered Indonesian rainforests but we are doing our best to support the Indonesian ecosystem by aquiring our wood in the correct ways.
